Jordan Environment Society (JES) was established in 1988 as a non-governmental and non-profit organization. It is the largest NGO in Jordan in this field. Its objectives include, but not limited to, protecting the environment and preserving its basic elements; water, air, soil and creatures.     •  June 21-24/2009: Training Course in Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Report.

Bilateral Cooperation
JES has signed several agreements with national, regional, and international organisation in the field of encironment. Parts of these agreements were signed regarding Recycling Project and Public Awreness Project in Used Oils.
